Today we took the Classical and Hellenistic Age Test online.

Modern World History

We continued our examination of Imperialism in Southeast Asia.

For homework, answer these questions:

How is this new imperialism different from old imperialism?
Describe direct and indirect rule.
What was the first new imperial colony?
How did these new imperial colonies differ from the American colonies?
How did Social Darwinism and racism play into this new imperialism?

We will discuss these answers on Monday.

US History I

First, the Chapter do-at-home was assigned.  We began looking at regional issues that will grow and plague the USA.

We discussed the early Feminist and Suffrage movements in Europe.

Tonight for homework, read pgs 436-437 and take notes on those sections.

Bring textbook to class tomorrow.

Notes will be taken on Chapter 13, Section 4.

Will be a time to ask questions about the Chapter.

Monday will be Chapter 13 Trivia Challenge.

Tuesday will be the Chapter 13 Test.
