We continued looking at Imperialism in Africa and began discussing Cecil Rhodes.

We discussed the rold of the Catholic church in influencing government overthrows in Latin America and viewed a film on the Falklands War.

Today was the Chapter 30 Test.

HOMEWORK:  Please answer the following question in an essay: Define “total war.”  How did the world wars of the 20th Century demonstrate the application of  “total war?”

REMINDER:  We are winding down with a whopping 6 chapters left.  Over the next 3 weeks we will be finishing the book.
