REMINDER:  Each project choice has a written part as well.

Today we learned about Zen Buddhism and then wrote Haiku poems in the Zen tradition.

REMINDER:  Tomorrow is the Hinduism/Buddhism test and the Hindu Shrine Project is due.

We examined the early part of the French Revolution and its first failures.

We continued watching Guns, Germs, and Steel.

We examined meditation in the Buddhist tradition and viewed a short film on Buddhism.

REMINDER:  The Buddhism/Hinduism test is Wednesday and the Hinduism Shrine assignment is due Wednesday as well.

Today we listed the immediate reasons for the start of the French Revolution.

Today was the Chapters 17-20 test.

We began talking about the different branches of Buddhism.

REMINDER: The Shrine Assignment is now due on Wednesday, January 13.

REMINDER 2:  Also on Wednesday, January 13 is the Hinduism/Buddhism Test.
