Today was our trivia review game for the Revolutionary War. Tomorrow is the Revolutionary War Test.

Assigned today is the Create-a-Shrine project due on January 9th.

We continued watching City of Joy.
Modern World History
The French Revolution is in full swing and we are approaching the Reign of Terror. As of today, the classroom revolution is back on. Remember, you must create a schedule to teach the points of the Revolution by the end of class tomorrow. If it can’t be done, the revolution is completely crushed by me.
US History I
We discussed the two major turning points of the Revolutionary War: The Battle of Saratoga and Valley Forge.
World History 8
We continued watching City of Joy.
Modern World History
We discussed the beginning of the French Revolution. We will be getting to the Reign of Terror very soon. Perhaps tomorrow the classroom revolution will get back on track.
US History I
We discussed the turning point of the Battle of Saratoga and the French assistance in the war.
REMINDER: If you want me to read a rough draft, it must be in to me by Monday. The due date is December 22.
World History 8
Indian geography was our topic today. We learned that it shapes the lives of the people living in India. Tomorrow we will begin watching City of Joy.
Modern World History
Today was the 3 Estates debate. It went extremely well, and I am overall impressed. Tomorrow we will look at the breakdown of relations between the Estates.
US History I
We looked at the early stages of the war with Washington rearming at West Point on his way to defend Philadelphia.
This is a message for my Modern World History classes (9th Grade).
Don’t forget that Monday is our debate. Be sure to have:
1. 2 minute prepared opening statement.
2. 2 questions to ask the other groups.
3. 2 minute closing statement.
The entire class will be graded as a whole since the Revolution is for everyone.
World History 8
Today was the Judaism/Christianity review game. Tomorrow, of course, is the Judaism/Christianity test. Be sure to review your notes and the reading packets.
Modern World History
Tomorrow is our French Revolution debate. Be sure to have a prepared opening statement and closing statement. Also, prepare questions to ask the other Estates. Prepare yourselves to answer questions asked to you as well.
Don’t forget to check the files page for the French Revolution and Napoleon Project. Next week you will have to tell me what project you have chosen to work on.

We took an open notebook quiz today on the Revolution. Tomorrow we will be discussing a change in British leadership and strategy, leading to the Battle of Trenton.
