We finished our study of Judaism and began Christianity with an overview of the Roman situation.

Modern World History

Chapter 10 review was today.  Tomorrow will be the Chapter 10 test.  It is on the Enlightenment and Revolutions.  Review all notes and reread Chapter 10.

US History I

We discussed the Battle of Lexington & Concord in class today.  There will be an essay on the Revolutionary War assigned tomorrow.

World History 8

We critically viewed a film on Judaism in period 7.  Period 1 had Peer Leadership today.

Modern World History

In my infinite kindness, you all have until 11:59 p.m. tonight to finish the take home test.  It will be inaccessible after that time.

Today we discussed the  North American extension of the Seven Years’ War and the American Revolution.

FOR HOMEWORK: Please read Chapter 10 Section 4 pgs. 330-333 and review all of your notes.  We will be examining the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence for specific evidence of Enlightenment ideas.

REMINDER: We will have the Chapter 10 test on Tuesday next week.

We took the Prelude to the Revolution Test today.

FOR HOMEWORK: Read Chapter 4 Section 1 pgs. 96-102 and answer these 3 questions:

Was a battle planned, in other words, bound to happen, at Lexington Green?

Hod did the Minutemen feel as the British were retreating?

Did the Colonists truly plan for what will happen after the Battle of Lexington and Concord?

Discussed in class was the effect of the Enlightenment on art, music, and governments.  Tomorrow we will discuss the Seven Years’ War.
