Today we discussed the turning point of the French and Indian War and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham.

World History 8
Today was the first day of presentations on Egyptian Daily Life. We will complete all presentations by the end of this week.
Reminder: Monday we will review…Tuesday will be the Ancient Egypt test.
Modern World History
The Comics project was handed in today. I look forward to seeing all of the great work. In class we discussed Absolute monarchy in France under Louis XIV. We will continue tomorrow.
NOTE: Nobody reminded me to hand out the worksheet packet for homework.
REMINDER: Chapter 7 section 4 notes are due Friday…the worksheet packet (will be handed out tomorrow) is also due Friday.
REMINDER 2: Review will be either Monday or Tuesday next week…The test on chapter 7 will either be Tuesday or Wednesday.
US History I
We are in the midst of the French and Indian War. The Braddock Expedition was our topic today. We will complete the F & I War this week and watch Last of the Mohicans next week.
REMINDER: The F & I War Battles assignment is due on Monday.
World History 8
We completed the Nefertiti reading and started working on a question sheet to go along with the reading. Time was given in class to start working on the sheet, it is to be completed for homework.
Reminder: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are presentation days for the Egyptian Daily Life PowerPoint.
Modern World History
Oliver Cromwell was our topic for the day. We listened to Monty Python’s Oliver Cromwell song and disected the lyrics. For homework, complete the Queen Elizabeth and Guy Fawkes worksheets. They will be collected on Monday.

Today was the Chapter 3 test.
World History 8
We finished discussing the New Kingdom’s downfall. Next, we started reading about the mummy of Neferititi. Don’t lose that reading, if you do, it can be found by clicking on this link.
